Markus Langen’s practice is focused on banking and corporate litigation. Recognised by leading industry guides as a noted practitioner in this area, he has particular experience representing companies in cases of capital markets and prospectus liability. He has a significant track record of disputes involving corporate and banking law, with an emphasis on defending claims for damages brought on the grounds of allegedly deficient investment advice. In the field of D&O liability and insurance, Markus regularly acts for companies, insolvency administrators and managers in complex disputes with regard to establishing and averting liability claims. Educated in Australia and Germany, Markus also gained valuable experience at a specialised banking firm and a major law firm in Germany, where he worked prior to joining White & Case.
