Emily Clark

Emily provides economic advice and analysis in relation to a range of competition matters including mergers and acquisitions, investigations of alleged market power and anti-competitive practices and agreements, and competition litigation. Emily has also advised governments, regulators and companies on a range of regulatory issues in the airports, rail, electricity, gas and water industries. She has also assisted clients in commercial litigation and arbitration cases involving competition law issues as well as other commercial matters such as breach of contract and insurance claims. In particular she has been involved in damages assessments using quantitative economic skills. Prior to joining Ashurst, Emily was a Manager in the Economic and Financial Consulting group of Andersen (1999 to 2002), and prior to that she was a Senior Consultant at Oxera, an economic consultancy (1995 to 1998).
